The memoir The following transcript of a memoir of a possible UFO sighting on 3 May 1952 was handwritten by my father George A. Shirley (1923-2014) on 27 May 1952 onto two flyleaf pages of the book Behind the Flying Saucers , by Frank Scully (Victor Gollancz Ltd., London, 1950). When he later discussed the sighting with me, George recalled that it occurred at Razorback – located approximately 60 kilometres west of the coastal Waterfall to Helensburgh region - during a Sydney-to-Melbourne holiday trip.
